1. "The Intimate World of Alexander Calder" featured objects for domestic use ranging from light fixtures to kitchen utensils, jewelry, toys, and small mobiles. Made primarily for family and friends, these objects are imaginative, often humorous and whimsical and hold a strong appeal for all ages and very definitely for children. Transformed from old cans, boxes and other scraps, these pieces are especially timely as waste becomes a major environmental issue.

In the promotion of international understanding, C-H has developed an exhibition schedule which includes several Russian topics: "Russian Graphic Design Before the Revolution," "Revolution in Design: The Henry and Ludmila Shapiro Collection of Soviet Propaganda Porcelain," and "Theatrical Constructivism: Russian Avant-Garde Stage Design, 1910-1930."
