1. Non-minority women were employed in the following positions: Astrophysicist, Accountant, Personnel Management Specialist, and Computer Programmer. In addition, an Asian American/Pacific Islander man and woman were hired as Computer Specialists. SAO also promoted several non-minority women, including an Astronomer to a Senior position, and an Astrophysicist, an Administrative Officer and a Computer Programmer.

The number of Research/Curatorial employees decreased by one during the period, from 25 to 24. Of the 24 employees, two were Hispanic men, one was an Hispanic woman, 18 were White men, and three were White women, Chart 25.
