+ Staton v. Smithsonian Institution (back pay claim for alleged overtime worked by a former Smithsonian guard): A motion to dismiss filed on behalf of the Institution was granted on April 17, 1991. No appeal of the order was taken.

++ Stone v. Secretary, Smithsonian Institution (sexual harassment and discrimination on the basis of sex): Without any admission on the part of the Institution of the claimed actions, the case was settled for $8,000, to be paid from the Judgment Fund, and a retraction of a three-day suspension.
