STATE OF ILLINOIS
Dwight L. Green, Governor
ILLINOIS AERONAUTICS COMMISSION

The Illinois Writers' Project, under the co-operating sponsorship of the Illinois Aeronautics Commission and the Chicago Aero Commission, is pleased to inform you that Who's Who in Aviation is being prepared for early publication. This up-to-the-minute volume will contain short biographies of important individuals who have contributed to the rapid development of American aviation. You are invited to submit a few facts about yourself, so that your biographical sketch will be accurate.

No charge is made for the inclusion of biological data in Who's Who in Aviation; you are not obligated to buy anything.

As you know, other books of this kind have been published, but none has given full coverage of the field. Who's Who in Aviation will include all branches of aeronautics, both civil and military, in the United States and its possessions.

Please give the information requested on the following pages. The Illinois Writers' Project will consider your co-operation in this matter a great favor. When your brief personal sketch has been written, it will be sent for revision; all material in subject to editorial acceptance.

Please send replies to the Illinois WPA Writers' Project, Who's Who in Aviation, 433 East Erie Street, Chicago, Illinois. No stamp is necessary if you use the enclosed envelope.

A reply at your earliest convenience will be sincerely appreciated.

Cordially yours,
The Editors [[/preprinted]]
