With reference to your 741 Par. 3, cadets receive at Ground Schools 16 hrs. instruction in sketching and map reading. At flying schools, theoretical instruction in compass and cross-country flying. At specialized schools they will receive additional cross-country flying as soon as equipment is furnished.
