9. TRUCK GASOLENE, RATIONS, &C.
   a. Squadrons will get truck gasolene, rations, and other Quartermaster supplies at the nearest railhead; in the manner prescribed by the Army or Corps.

       III. Repair.

10. Squadrons will do light motor repairs, not motor overhauls. They will do such plane repairs as personnel and available material permit.

11. Air Parks will make somewhat more serious motor repairs, depending on personnel and spare parts available. They will do practically no plane repair.

12. All motors and planes which cannot be repaired by the Air Parks will be returned to the Air Depot for repair or salvage. Such motors and planes must be complete with all accessories, although serviceable accessories may be replaced by unserviceable ones from other machines.

13. Log books properly filled out must always accompany planes or motors which are to be repaired.

     IV. Salvage.

14. As soon as one airplane or motor is wrecked or otherwise unserviceable, the squadron Commander will notify the Air Park that salvage is necessary.

15. Before the airplane or motor is salvaged, the squadron may remove such instruments or accessories as are needed for immediate use on other machines. These must be replaced by unserviceable instruments or accessories.

16. The Air Park will send for the airplane or motor at the earliest possible moment, and will bring it to the Park for salvage. In case all the trucks of the Park are in use, the squadrons or Air Depot will help in bringing in material for salvage.

    17. The Park will remove such parts of the plane or motor as are needed for the repair of other machines, replacing them by unserviceable parts from other planes.

18. Finally the park will send the airplane or motor back to the Advanced Air Depot or Air Depot for salvage.

19. Every possible care will be taken to salvage unserviceable planes and motors carefully and quickly, in order that no useable material may be ruined, lost, or stolen.

20. Log books properly filled out, must always be sent with plane or motors returned for salvage.

21. Group commanders are responsible for the care and salvage or airplanes belong-ing (belonging) to all squadrons in the Group.

     V. MOTOR TRANSPORT.
22. The care, use and upkeep of Motor Transport will be regulated by the Equip-ment (Equipment) Officer of the Army Air Service, according to the regulations prescribed by the GMTQ. of the Army.
