4. The function of the park may be considered as two-fold: (1) Repair and (2) Supply.

(1) REPAIR: 
  a) Recovery of damaged equipment which should be brought into the park by its transportation. 
  b) The salvaging of this equipment at the air depot, that is to say, the taking off of anything that is of immediate use to the park in the repair of material on hand. 
  c) The evacuation of material which has been salvaged to the general repair depot, or depots in the rear, for instance, such as Saints Cyr at the present time. 
  d) Facilities for repair, ordinarily not requiring over three days of - - 
     1. engines.
     2. airplanes. 
     3. armament. 
     4. radio equipment. 
     5. photographic equipment. 
     6. transportation equipment. 
     7. miscellaneous equipment. 

(2) SUPPLY: 
       Provision should be made for the supply of- -
