HQ. THIRD CORPS AREA, Baltimore, Md., Nov. 24, 1922. - To: Major T. D. Milling, Air Service, Langley Field, Va., President of Examining Board appointed by Par 28, S. O. 123, these headquarters, c.s., as amended.

1. The letter mentioned in preceding indorsement pertains to the examination of candidates of commission in the Regular Army. This case is that of a Reserve Officer applying for promotion. As you are President of Examining Board appointed by these headquarters for the examination of candidates for appointment and promotion in the Officers' Reserve Corps, it is requested that you immediately take the necessary steps to have Captain William Abbitt Coleman, AS-ORC examined for promotion to the grade of Major, AS-ORC.
