Numerous caves favorable for debarkation on Hamakua Coast. Railroad from Cape Kumakahi to Mahukena. Government road circles island. Portions of the road are poor and in Kana district it twists and turns a great deal. Hils and Kealakekua harbars offer best landings for troops and supplies. Power plant at Hils. Numerous mills, movable railroad systems and other equipment along Hamakua Coast. Parker Ranch afford camping grounds, airdrome sites and a large supply of beef, mutton, draft animals and produce. Other airdrome sites at Hils, Volcano, Mahukona and Upolu Pt.
