{SPEAKER name="Ella Mae Lentz/Shirley Schultz (interpreter)"}
Sign language has a group of hand shapes. Those hand shapes are similar to these hand shapes, but they, but many are not like those.
[00:28:29]
These, some of these hand shapes are used in signs, some are not used in sign language. If they are not in sign language, we could change, and invent some thing to make it look proper.
[00:28:40]
Now, you see why, we tell a story in the order of the alphabet, A B C D E F G, but with signs.
[00:28:47]
Now, I will sign once through with no interpreter. And then we'll go through it again, with each sign, and the interpreter will give hints as to what the signs mean, with the letters.
[00:29:00]
This is called "The Haunted House".
[00:29:03]

We change a few signs, for example, casting a spell.

The spell, that's the sign. But because, we're stuck, we need a W there, we, we use the, maybe three fifths of a magician is shown. Three fingers instead of five. [[laughs]]
