Meeting concurrently with the National Supreme Council, the National Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, will welcome some 1,100 delegates and 250 visitors to its annual convention. Dr. Julia C. Fitzpatrick of Detroit, as National Grand Matron, will preside over the late summer session.

Going into its 51st year, the Grand Chapter continues to foster "united sisterhood for the uplifting of humanity through high morals and ideals," and has pledged "adequate preparedness for future social and economical changes."

Milwaukee, Wisconsin
August 18-22, 1968

St. Louis' Mrs. Ester K. Harris, International Grand Worthy Matron, will preside over the International Conference of Grand Chapters of the Order of Eastern Star's 27th Biennial Session in Milwaukee. The Holiday Inn will host the group.

The five-day meeting will also mark the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the 40 Jurisdictions and 150,000 members throughout the United States, Canada, Liberia, Europe, the Isles of the Sea, including Hawaii, Guam and the Bahamas.

The order has assisted many students in their education.
