NAMD SECRETARY
Mrs. Sarah A. Smith, 1970-71 Secretary for NAMD, is currently employed as a specialist in Urban Affairs for General Electric's Aerospace Group at the Valley Forge Space Technology Center. In her position, she is responsible for developing guidelines, prototype programs, and proposals that relate to urban social problems. A graduate of Sleepers Business College, Mrs. Smith formerly headed up the Missile and Space Division's Speakers Bureau and School Programs. Other activities include membership of the Youth Motivation Advisory Committee of the National Alliance of Businessmen; and the Executive Committee of the National Association of Market Developers, Inc., among others. She is also the author of a children's booklet "A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE."

NAMD DIRECTOR, PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PUBLICITY
Mrs. Inez Y. Kaiser, NAMD Director of Public Relations and Publicity, is also the owner and President of Inez Kaiser and Associates, a public relations, advertising, marketing, and consulting firm located in Kansas City, Missouri. A former teacher, Mrs. Kaiser is also the author of Inez Kaiser's original SOUL FOOD COOKERY cookbook and Soul Food Recipe Cards. In the profession for many years, Mrs. Kaiser has won many  honors for her outstanding work, including the American Woman of the Year given by the National Association of Media Women, and the recipient of NAMD'S Betty Jane Everett Award. Among her memberships are: The Urban League, NAACP, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and the Advertising and Sales Executive Club of Kansas City. Mrs. Kaiser is also the founder and originator of the Del Sprites, a volunteer program which caters to the needy black young women in the Greater Kansas City Area. She has served as Special Markets Consultant for the Seven-Up Company, St. Louis, Missouri, for approximately seven years.
