who participated-first, to stay in school; second, to finish their education; third, to attend a college, then learn some profession so that you might be able to provide for yourselves and your loved ones.

A surprise highlight of the conference was the awarding by the Pan Hellenic Society of Appreciation Plaques to Murray Cohen, Principal of Louis D. Brandeis High School, Mrs. Joann Ransom of Zeta Phi Beta, Mr. Alvin Wilks of Alpha Phi Alpha, and Mr. C. Melvin Patrick of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, for meritorious services to the Pan Hellenic Society in its quest to foster educational opportunities to the children of New York. The 6th Annual Pan Hellenic Careers Day is set for November 1972 and, of course, the place is again the Louis D. Brandeis High School of New York.
