POSITIVE RECRUITMENT PROGRAM LAUNCHED BY TUFTS UNIVERSITY

A program designed to bring more blacks and other minorities into the main stream of higher education, and which is one of the most progressive programs in the nation has been launched at Tufts University under the leadership of Bob Albert.

Mr. Albert, the Director of Tufts Affirmative Action Program, came to his present position after spending several years in the Federal Government in Personnel and compliance work. Albert stated, "Several universities have given lip service to equal opportunity programs, but at Tufts we are going to do something about it." He further stated that "interested high school graduates anywhere in the country, should apply. College graduates who are interested in continuing their education in our graduate schools of Arts and Sciences, Medical School, Dental School or Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, should apply."

Tufts means business. This is why we are seeking the assistance from anyone who knows of someone who would like to take advantage of this opportunity to attend this outstanding institution.

We are also proud of our progressive administration and faculty. We feel that they are doing great things in the education field. If you or some of your friends want to become a part of this dynamic team, contact us.

Those of us at Tufts are very excited about our program and with a little help from our friends, we will overcome.
