[[?0]] Shrine and guests attended Medina Temple No. 19's annual Military Ball and Drill Competition on June 11. The affair was staged at the Audubon Ballroom, Broadway and 164th Street.
Highlighting the evening was Temple No. 19's victory in the eastern regional competition. The winners were honored by the makers of Windsor Supreme Canadian Whisky who acted as hosts at the festive affair. [[/caption]]

One of the outstanding charity balls in the city of New York is the annual "Bums Ball," sponsored by the Continental Society of New York, Inc.  Held at the Statler-Hilton Hotel, the Bums Ball costume party draws a large turnout of New Yorkers active in business, social and community affairs, and each year donates proceeds from the ball to a charity.  This year, funds were donated to Manhattan Health Park–Children's Division for Sickle Cell Anemia Project. [[/caption]]

Busts of the Old Taylor Ingenious Americans play an important role at the recent 28th Annual Boule of the Gamma Phi
Delta Sorority, Inc., a nationwide organization. The busts were on exhibition in the hospitality suite and were presented as door prizes to delegates at the close of the convention.
