C. Handy00 "Father of the Blues" W.C. Handy was saluted by Ed Sullivan, who presented network television's first integrated variety programs TOAST OF THE TOWN in 1952 on the CBS Television Network. [[Image - Photo - The Mills Brothers]] The Mills Brothers, shown here in early 1930's were hired on the spot after their first audition at CBS Radio.
