S.G.I.G. William R. Greenwood, 33°  is Illustrious Deputy for Colorado and Vice President and Manager of Lowry Air Force Facility of Colorado National Bank, with assets in excess of $450,000,000.

Sovereign Grand Commander Frank M. Summers, 33°, authorized that $30,000 from the United Supreme Council treasury be deposited in Colorado National Bank. Our fiscal officers have duly executed the order.

Ill. Greenwood has a distinguished record in financial affairs. He developed an outstanding financial and management system at Lowry Air Force Base. He, as Budget Director, developed the budget and financial plan for Titan I missile site of the U.S. Air Force Academy and financial management for the Ethiopian Air Force. He is internationally credited with training the Budget Officers for the Ethiopian, Korean and Imperial Iranian Air Forces. It is estimated that Ill. Greenwood was in complete charge of over $100,000,000 (one hundred million) per year in the later years of his directorship.

As General Chairman of the Citizens' Budgetary Committee and board member of  Dynamic Growth, Inc. he developed a six million dollar, luxury 1-story condominium building. He also heads his own financial management firm in Denver, Colorado.

Ill. Courtney P. Houston, Jr., 33°, Treasurer General of the Holy Empire, is the first Negro magistrate of the southern district of the State of Delaware (in his 3rd-four year term). Previously taught high school for 15 years, where he was Chairman of the Music Department and Vice Principal for several years.

Illustrious Houston is in his tenth year as Most Worshipful Grand Master, Prince hall Masons of Delaware; Eminent Deputy Grand Commander, Knight Templars (Dela.); Past Potentate, Suakim Temple; Past Noble Advisor, Daughters of Isis, Suakim Court; for six years Imperial Organist, Imperial Council, AEAONM Shrine; authorized and sat up Military Masonic Lodges at: Dover, Del. Air Force Base; Hour Glass Lodge, Chin Chuan Kang Air Base, Taichung, Taiwon, and, Siam Military Lodge, Bangkok, Thailand. He has held active chairmanships in the Grand Master's Conference and served as Grand Organist of the Supreme Council for six years.

He attended Hampton Institute (2 years), earned B.S. Degree in Education at Central State University (Xenia, Ohio); took graduate college level courses at: Antioch College, Columbus, Ohio (Musical Instrument Courses); Ohio State College, Columbus, Ohio (Progressive Educational Courses); Temple University, Philadelphia, Pa. (Graduate Studies in Music Education); University of Delaware, Newark, Del. (Graduate Studies in Education); La Salle Extension University, Chicago, Ill., where he secured a Law Degree.

Ill. Houston holds a private pilot's license from Flying School, Delaware Airpark and owns his own plane.

He is a native Philadelphian. He and his wife, Gloria, are parents of a son and daughter. He is a life long member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church and is affiliated with Whatcoat Methodist Church, Dover, Del. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, The Elks, Frontiersmen, Chiefs of Police Association, Magistrates' Association, International Toastmasters, Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Hammond Organ Society, Citizen Band Radio Operators Club and the recipient of several appointments from the governor of Delaware. He has received a dozen honors, both masonic and secular and his community affiliations include over ten areas of interest.

Ill. Arthur D. Jewell, 33°, the Recording Secretary of the Holy Empire since 1950 is presently recuperating from major surgery at his residence in Washington, D.C., where he is a retired educator. At his retirement, April, 1968, he was Vice Principal of that city's McKinley High School. He had held that post since 1955.

Illustrious Jewell, during his teaching career, had been principal of Carver Vocational High School (Wilmington, Del.) and had taught Electrical Engineering at Howard University (1945). He was a former mathematic and science teacher. He taught these subjects at high schools in Virginia, Alabama Oklahoma and North Carolina before joining the faculties on the collegiate level.

He held teaching posts at N.C. Central College (Durham, N.C.); Shaw College (Raleigh, N.C.); Langston University (Oklahoma) and he was head of the Department of Vocational Education at Miners Teacher College, District of Columbia, before accepting the vice principalship.

Ill. Carl Lynwood Wilson, 33°, elected Secretary General of the Holy Empire, has been a Scottish Rite Mason for over 25 years. He is a Past Master, Past Commander-In-Chief, Past Potentate, Past C.C.-F.C. of the Grand Lodge of Ohio, Past Patron, Past District Deputy of the Far East under the Grand Lodge of Oklahoma, member of all York Rite bodies. He was elevated to honorary status in May 1957 and served the Jurisdiction of Ohio as Most Worshipful Grand Master from 1959 to 1961. During that period he represented all Prince Masons of America by active participation in the cornerstone laying ceremonies of the Masonic Temple in Monrovia, Liberia. In August of this year he was reelected Imperial Oriental Guide of the A.E.A.O.N.M.S. He was coronated a Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the Holy Empire this year.

Ill. Wilson is a native of Ohio and was raised in a strong Masonic atmosphere in Sandusky, Ohio. He served during World War II in the American and European Theaters of Operation. He was graduated from the School of Architecture of Ohio State University in 1951 and is registered to practice architecture in that state.

He has traveled extensively throughout the world. He and his wife, Doris, have one adopted son, Tad. His vocation with the U.S. Corps of Engineers has included almost five years in East Africa and one year as Installation Planning Officer in Korea. Among the sophisticated facilities on which he supervised construction are the U.S. Post Office in Canton, Ohio; the IRS Addition in Covington, Ky.; the $25,000,000 U.S. Post Office in downtown Baltimore, Md.; and the recently completed $50,000,000 Bulk Mail Center in Cincinnati which is now fully operational and handles by automation the bulk mail for Ohio, Indians, and Kentucky. Since August, he has been appointed Assistant Area Engineer for the Ohio Area Office.
