Hodges of Los Angeles, Calif., "MISS PRINCE HALL SHRINE QUEEN FOR 1975-76," is shown seated on the queen's float in the 83rd annual Imperial Council parade through the streets of her hometown city. Later in the evening she assisted Imperial Potentate Marshall S. Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pa. to crown the new queen, Miss Valerie A. Hines of Florence, S.C. and present to her a $2,500 first-place scholarship award. Miss Hodges is the daughter of Mrs. Lou Netta Hodges of LA and was sponsored in the pageant by Egyptian Temple and Egyptian Court 5 of LA.

The other young ladies seen on the float are contestants for the 1976-77 PH Shrine Queen award, won by Miss Hines.[[/caption]
