MOLLIE MOON
CHAIRMAN, NATIONAL URBAN LEAGUE GUILD

It is once again my great pleasure and a very real privilege to welcome our patrons and guests to the 38th Annual Beaux Arts Ball. This year our theme is "A Salute to Youth", our most important heritage. We ask all who see the Journal to recognize those who seek to employ our young people, and who respond to their needs through their Equal Opportunity Employment as well as Affirmative Action Programs, and who have made these known on our pages.

This dance has endured and has enabled the National Urban League Guild to continue its assistance to the parent body, the National Urban League only because of the loyal support of hundreds of friends of all races and faiths who attend this gala affair year after year.

Our wonderful thanks to those dependable patrons who have supported the Beaux Arts Ball for over a quarter of a century, and to the many companies and labor unions who have indicated their support of the Urban League goals through their advertisements in this Journal.
We are indebted too to those representatives of the News media who have generously publicized our Annual Ball.
