MINORITY BUSINESS/ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Congressman Parren J. Mitchell
Chairman

The Minority Business/Economic Development Braintrust is planning to focus on several major issues relative to the continuing struggle for economic parity. Some of these issues are as follows: (1) a follow-up to the June, 1980 Braintrust meeting; (2) discussion of the impact of the Fullilove vs. Klutznick decision (on the 10% minority set aside); (3) update of all major Federal procurement agencies of Public Law 95-507; (4) status report on HR 6904, a Bill which would statutorily create the Minority Business Administration; and (5) a status report on the Minority Business Enterprise Emergency Action Plan.
