What business does the Miller Brewing Company have with Greensboro National and Mechanics and Farmers Bank?

Bank business. And plenty of it. When we at Miller Brewing Company and Philip Morris Incorporated decided to expand our Minority Banking Program, more than 45 minority-owned banks provided us with over $15.5 million in loans. Greensboro National and Mechanics and Farmers Bank are part of that consortium. And we've all profited by it.

Increased bank business.

Having a big corporate account like ours allowed Mechanics and Farmers to increase business and housing loans to their customers. The Greensboro National Bank has been able to provide educational seminars and workshops on business and banking.

This kind of community benefit was just what we had in mind when we began our Minority Banking Program some 20 years ago. Today, we're doing millions of dollars in business with nearly 60 banks owned by Blacks, Women, and Hispanics.

If you're interested in minority banking, we have some guidelines to share with you. Just write me:
