MESSAGE FROM THE GRAND BASILEUS

As members of the Lambda Kappa Mu sorority, an organization of business and professional women, we have committed and rededicated ourselves to the importance of blacks networking to achieve. Our ideals and objectives, Sisterhood, Achievement, Service and Scholarship emphasize the necessity of linking our human resources within our communities and other organizations. Networking has become the phenomenon of the 80's. We must become politically and economically astute to realize our power base. We must promote, coordinate, and advocate qualitative service in order to correct the social ills prevalent in our neighborhoods.

Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority is ready to accept the challenge that faces us today. "Improve the Quality of Life; Meeting Community and National Needs," our national theme, meets today's challenges. Therefore we must collectively decide the strategy necessary to promote change across this country. Networking will be the adroit mechanism we must use as the cogent factor for change. Mutual support is needed to overcome the ominous conditions that prevail in today's society.
