McClain, Sr. President [[/caption]] Percy R. McClain, Sr. of Detroit, Michigan was installed as 1982-83 President of the National Pharmaceutical Association at ceremonies held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the Association's 35th Annual Convention. Mr. McClain assumed the position of Director of Pharmacy at Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital, Detroit in 1981. Previously, he served as Hospital Director of Pharmacy and Director of Hospital Pharmacy Residencies at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit since 1968. Mr. McClain has been an adjunct faculty member at Wayne State University since 1969. In 1977, he was promoted to his present rank of Adjunct Associate Professor of Hospital Pharmacy. Mr. McClain received his baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan in 1952 and the M.S. in Hospital Pharmacy from Wayne State University in 1969. Mr. McClain is a member of many professional associations and has been involved in a number of community activities. His immediate family includes his wife, Florence Hegeman, and three children, one girl and two boys. One boy is a pharmacy student at Xavier University in New Orleans, and the other boy is a law student at Howard University in Washington, D.C. [[image]] [[caption]] Left to Right—N.Ph.A.
