Fellas award 4 scholarships 

Four youngsters from the metropolitan area of New York City have been awarded $1,000 scholarships by The Fellas, one of the area's most popular clubs, it was announced this week by Dr. R. Chester Redhead, chairman of the club's Scholarship Committee. 

The four will be introduced at the club's annual holiday dinner dance, to be held Dec. 27 at Windows on the World at the World Trade Center. 

The scholarship winners are: Timothy B. James, a graduate of Hempstead High School, a student of electronic engineering at New York University; Michael LeVernon McClellan, a graduate of Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, NJ, an electrical engineering student at Rutgers University; Carl Joseph Levison, a graduate of Midwood High School in Brooklyn, a student at City College who plans to study medicine; and Alan David Benjamin, a graduate of the Orme School in Mayer, Arizona, a student of mechanical engineering at the University of Tulsa. 

The Fellas also announced that their annual Memorial Weekend trip for 1984 will be held May 25-28, a Bahamian Rendezvous to the Ambassador Beach Hotel in Nassau, Grand Bahama Island. The annual trip is one means of raising funds for the Scholarship Fund.
