DORIS TROY

An experienced, talented singer, Doris Troy was raised in Harlem New York's famous Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where her father was the minister. Ms. Troy learned to sing and develop her voice at Church, but her learning place was Harlem's Apollo Theatre where she spent her days as an ushertte.

Ms. Troy is the writer and artist of the very popular song "Just One Look" which launched her into international fame. She lived in London where the Beatles' George Harrison produced her albums. She now resides in Las Vegas and appears at several of the top supper clubs there.

Currently, Ms. Troy is appearing in the role of "Mama Winter" in the award winning play "Mama I want to sing."

SUZANNE DE PASSE
PRESIDENT OF MOTOWN PRODUCTIONS

Ms. de Passe joined Motown in 1968 as Creative Assistant to the President, Berry Gordy. In 1970, she moved into writing and was nominated for an Academy Award in 1972 for co-writing the screenplay, "Lady Sings The Blues." She then made a meteoric rise through Motown's executive ranks becoming president of Motown Productions in 1981.

Under the leadership of Ms. de Passe, Motown Productions has released the successful feature film, "Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon," television movies and specials including "Motown 25--Yesterday, Today, & Forever." Ms. de Passe received the Emmy Award as executive producer of this show and the NAACP Image Award as co-writer. She has received a second Emmy as executive producer for the NBC special "Motown Returns to the Apollo."

Ms. de Passe serves on the Board of Trustees of the UCLA Foundation. The National Urban League. The American Film Institute and on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of The Academics of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and Television Arts and Sciences. She is Commissioner of the California Motion Picture Council.

DEXTER SCOTT KING

Dexter Scott King, the third of the four children of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mrs. Coretta Scott King is presently a student at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, majoring in Banking and Finance.

Named for the historic Dexter Avenue Baptist Church where Dr. King held his first pastorate, Dexter King attended Frederick Douglass High School in Atlanta. Early on he demonstrated the versatility which is now one of his trademarks. At Douglass, he was a member of the Student Government Association, and the Honor Society, as well as a member of the varsity football, track, and tennis teams. 

Mr. King has traveled extensively abroad. Wherever he goes, he carries with him and expresses the philosophy of his father. His most fervent hope is to continue to serve the community and to help his people through the business and political arenas.
