[[logo]] "A HOME RUN FOR KIDS" [[logo]] THE WINFIELD FOUNDATION Turning Kids On To Health and Education Established by New York Yankees outfielder Dave Winfield in 1977, the Winfield Foundation today is one of the leading community service organizations of its kinds. Attributing much of his success to commitments to health and education he made early in life, the nine-time major league All-Star created Foundation to foster motivations and determination among the nation's youth. Noting the importance of athletes as respected role models for kids, Winfield built the organizations with the objective of instilling " a sound mind in a healthy body." Through the years, its many programs have encompassed a variety of services ranging from community health fairs to educational scholarships. Its current objectives are twofold-to continue its work in developing and organizing America's future leaders and to address the pressing need for quality drug awareness education through a new program in 1986. The Winfield foundation appreciates your support of these goals you have shown here tonight. [[image]] THE WINFIELD FOUNDATION, INC. DAVID M. WINDFIELD President GARY C.
