R. S. Donaldson
Lieut Col Act Asst Commissioner

Sir:

I have the honor to make the following report for the week ending to day I have approved two contracts and have made arraingements to bind out two orphan children I think I will be able to find good homes for many destitute children The clause in the Indenture requireing six months school each year being placed to them appears to meet with the approval of all

I have refered several cases for trial to the civil authorities which I think will be properly and fairly adjusted none of the suits have been held yet but will next week and I will make a report of the same

Very Respectfully Your Obdt Servt

Transcription Notes:
Jno is short for John, and Obdt Servt seems to be a common way of salutation, means obedient servant
