I have the honor to Report the Business done in this Office pertaining to the Freedmen Bearea in obedience to General Orders  this place is in Good Condition as regards the Freedmen  there is no congregating a round the Place

Most all are Remaining with there former Masters  some little trouble arisen from abuses inflicted by the former Master for whitch I have arrested & punished by inflicting a fine

I wil this day turn over all Books & papers to C. G. Austin whoe has bin sent to this place to Relieve Lt Bush whoe has never bin at this Place  I there for Deem it Proper to turn all such things and business done by me over to him, he beling a Sub. Commissioner of Freedmen Burea on order to this Place
