Col

Your communication of July 25th with form of Indentures for binding out children was recvd- So far there have been no applicants as they think it impossible to comply with the schooling portion of the wording &c- I am getting along tolerably well here- but have no place for a camp as there are no abandoned places here. All have owners or claimants upon them

I have no Rations either, but Col Lieb has sent to Memphis for supplies and will probably have some soon

will send report for the month soon

Very Respectfully &c
Your obt Servant
