The Object of all our patrols has been to Maintain a Barrage against E.A. (photographic)

Made up my personal reports and had them sent in  

Major H. and a number of pilots went to Neuf Chateau to attend Lt. Lawrence's funeral. He was killed in a crash there yesterday. Lt Campbell of the 94 was wounded in the back this morning in a fight with Huns. He now has 7 E.A. to his credit 94 has accounted for 19 E.A. since coming to Toul. Our Patrol at 6 P.M.

Lieut Heinrich leaves us for good as patrol leader

"C" Flight patrol at 11:30 AM MacA. Roberts Rucker & Clapp. MacA shoots at a machine north of Nancy with white circles as markings. He feels that he has fired at an Englishman Therefore rather worried

In the afternoon MacA & I convoy [[strikethrough]] tw [[/strikethrough]] a Spad photographic machine but do not find it over aerodrome  

Meet 2 [[strikethrough] bu [[/strikethrough]] biplace Huns near Thiocourt [[Thiaucourt]] but do not shoot for fear of their being allies 

Loose MacA in the excitement 

First experience of "Auto aircraft."
