Very rainy yesterday MacArthur didn't go up to see Ballon Sqdn. as I thought but went to Nancy.

This morning he and I and Roberts went to see the balloon boys. We got a little dope but nothing very much.

Went to Charmes with Major Hartney, MacArthur, Cosgrove, and Lieut Pitkin of the 100th Sqdn R.A.F. Saw my first of the Handley Pages on the Ground 5 in a row. They certainly are vast.

Met some Canadian Sisters at Charmes Spent a very pleasant evening. Came back late in the evening But didn't get lost.

[[3 images - drawings of insignia]]

None are drawn well but they represent Eagle Gargoyle and Cross of Loraine.

Squadron formation at 5 P.M. was fine so Major H. said "B" Flight lead and did well
