Mon
Wea. Cloudy-Rain | JUNE 2 | Ther. 75

I got up at 5:30 and after cleaning up I had breakfast. After breakfast I spent most of the morning getting ready to leave. I went over to the Photo Lab and said good-by to all of the fellows over there. It is surprising to see how many friends I have made in the two weeks I worked in the Lab. Norton, Ault, Johnson and Cipranno were some of the most friendly fellows I have ever met. After dinner I helped to load lockers on the train and take bedding over to the store room. After supper I wrote a letter home and then I watched all the drunks in the hanger. About seventy percent of the fellows in our hanger were drunk and staggering all over the place. I went to bed about 9:30. The noise in the hanger was terrific all night.
