I got up at 6:30 and after cleaning up I had breakfast. After finishing the last map rack it was time for lunch. Right after lunch I reported to Capt. Cutler and he said I did a good job. We talked about the photo lab and he said not to expect work for about six months. With this in mind I dicided [[decided]] to get a job elsewhere so with Captain Cutler's recommendation I saw Lt. Streckle of the Base Inspections. He told me to report in the morning after interviewing me. After supper I attended a minstrel by the Lady Cooties of Bangor. I appreciated their attempt to entertain us but it was a flop. The orchestra for the dance was also lousy. My partner was Margaret Law. She was good looking and on the chubby side. Her dancing was terrible. I also met Bertha Bagley another nice girl not a beauty but she had a very good personality. Bed 12:30
