I got up at 6:30 and after cleaning up I had breakfast. I attended Mass given by the Priest from Southern Pines out on one of the runways. It was a very nice ceremony. At nine oclock we packed all our things and took down the tents to be moved into the woods so as to be concealed from the enemy during the Mock War. I worked very hard all day and after supper I washed up, wrote a letter and went to bed about 8:30.

Capt. Cutler changed his mind yesterday and now we are to do out weather work in a tent as soon as the teletype comes in.
Wrote a letter home and had a coke at the Pilots Club.
The gnats are terrible we wear a head net almost all day.
