Up at 0745E. Worked all day a the lab trying to get things straightened out. What a mess. Davis is still as bad as ever only a little worse now that Levine is gone. We averaged about a hundred 4x5 negs today and just as many prints. After supper I went into town and returned my library books. Cost me 24¢ for time overdue. Met Valma and talked awhile. Walked up to Chas. Towers where we spent the evening talking about photography and stuff. I treated them and then returned to the field. Bed 2345E Sent Mother & Daddy a telegram for their anniversary.
