JUNE 30

Up at 0745E. Worked at the lab all day. Pay Day but I didn't get paid but I did get $6.60 ration money yesterday. Quit my job at the theater because for about twenty-hours work all I would get was $1.60. Lt. Kelley was sore but I don't care. Got notice to be ready to go up tomorrow to photo some bomb [[strikethrough]] spotting [[/strikethrough]] hits. Had a long talk with Lt. White. We are going to keep Spaulding and give Davis another chance. A new man started today, Bob a good man for retouching and lettering. Went to show "My Favority Spy" Kay Kyser & his Band. Very Good. Wrote a letter home & to Midge. Bed 2400E.
