Up at 0615A. I cleaned up good after breakfast for the inspector. I drew a 45 pistol yesterday. The personell inspector was terrible. Very few of the fellows ever drilled before by the way it looked. Col. Fickle the C.O. did the inspecting himself. He's a real guy does everything we men have to do. It was a dull day at the lab but I kept busy on the T.O.'s. I practiced on the horn awhile during the afternoon. Wrote a letter to H.B. and then I saw Chaplin McGuire about an army correspondence course. He gave me a form so later I filled it out and mailed it with $2.00 handling expense. Read the Digest until 2345A. Bed. It's a little quieter tonight, not bad. Most of the fellows know I complained so every time they see me they rub it in.
