Up at 1100A. This really is a vacation nothing to do but have a good time. I filled in my diary and just loafed around all afternoon. About four I dressed and went down to the Lab and talked to Ken and Mary until quiting time I think I'm making a little headway with Mary because she is very serious now and then. I couldn't ride on the Eng. bus so Mary & I hitched a ride in from some civilian. Mary has been so sweet lately that I could fall for her in a big way. We had a grand dinner with Mr. & Mrs Grant son Ed and their war effort Dane add in the Art. The whole Norris family and myself. Mary went to play practice again with Mr Grace. I walked over with her and all the way she was so close. I wish I knew what to do about Mary. We then spent the evining at Norrises playing cards. Mary came back about 2400A tired but looking as sweet as ever. We had a little lunch and then I walked out to the fort. Bed 0200A My mind just refuses to think of anything but Mary.
