No Policy or other Contract dated on or after 1st Jan., 1924, will be recognized by the Committee of Lloyd's as entitling the holder to the benefit of the Funds and/or Guarantees lodged by the Underwriters of the Policy or Contract as security for their liabilities unless it bears at foot the Seal of Lloyd's Policy Signing Office.

LLOYD'S POLICY.

(Subscribed only by Underwriting Members of Lloyd's who have complied in all respects with the requirements of the Assurance Companies Act of 1909 as to security and otherwise.)

(hereinafter called "the Assured"), ^[[has]] paid ^[[Belgian Francs:70.00]] Premium or Consideration to Us, who have hereunto subscribed our Names to Insure against Loss as follows:

^[[Against all and every risk whatsoever, excluding the risk of breakage of glass but including damage done to the property insured by broken glass.

during the period commencing with the ^[[29th.]] of ^[[September, 1938,]] and ending with the ^[[28th.]] of ^[[September 1939]], both days inclusive. 

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein this Policy does not cover Loss or Damage directly or indirectly occasioned by, happening through or in consequence of war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation or nationalisation or requisition or destruction of or damage to property by or under the order of any government or public or local authority. 

If the Assured shall make any claim knowing the same to be false or fraudulent, as regards amount or otherwise, this Policy shall become void, and all claim thereunder shall be forfeited. 

Now know Ye, that We the Underwriters do hereby bind Ourselves, each for his own part, and not one for Another, our Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, to pay or make good to the Assured or to the Assured's Executors, Administrators, and Assigns, all such Loss or Damage as aforesaid as may happen to the subject matter of this Insurance, or any part thereof during the continuance of this Policy; not exceeding the Sum of ^[[THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND BELGIAN FRANCS,]] such payment to be made within Seven Days after such Loss is proved and that in proportion to the several Sums by each of Us subscribed against our respective Names not exceeding the several Sums aforesaid. 

In Witness whereof We, Underwriting Members of Lloyd's, have subscribed our Names and Sums of Money by Us insured.
