Youngstown, Ohio.

Dear Mr. Campbell:

We would like to call your attention to a very rare portrait by VanDyck which we have recently acquired. It was painted during the artist's Genoese period, when he was under the influence of the great Venetian painters, Titian and Veronese.

It is recorded in every work on VanDyck and it occurred to me that probably you might be interested to see it. The picture is now in our New York galleries and I would esteem it a privilege to show it to you if you could spare a few moments the next time you come to New York.

Yours very truly,
