In studying about Gianpietrino, one Museum Collection book mentioned him as Francisco [[Pesmir?]] who worked with Raphael. Vasari mentions him as painting the Loggia with Raphael at the Vatican and being heir with Gulio Romana of Raphael's effects. Old books mention him as a pupil of L. Vinci.
