3 East 51st Street
New York City

Dear Mr. Seligmann:

Thank you very kindly for your letter and the information therein. I have noted very carefully all you have said. I shall work on the photographs first.

I have already sent the Hoppner photo out to my client. I may have to send for the painting. I will know about this as soon as my client sees the photograph. I think he will like it. We may have to hang it in his home until he decides on it, and I expect this will take about a month's time. If anything of this school comes in at a little less money, kindly let me know, so we can both make some money.

On the 25th of this month we are opening an exhibition of Persian and Indian Art. Mr. Heeramaneck of New York City is going to show his collection in our galleries--April 25th through May 7th.

If you have a chance to come to Boston soon, I hope you will come in and see me again. I will work hard on the paintings and I do hope I will have success. Conditions in this city are something auful. The only way to do is just keep on trying, I guess. The notable families here are very discouraged and are not spending any money.

With kind personal regards, I am

Sincerely yours,
