My dear Mr. Seligmann,

I have not returned to you the Stuarts because since I have received your letter one of my customers has come in and wanted to see them hung in his house. I shall know this week whether they will be sold or not, and immediately I shall let you know. I have asked $25,000.00 for them and I shall probably receive an offer if this man is interested.
