I am enclosing Invoices of our Paris firm.In case you should not receive any official letter on the subject, this is what I read in mine of today:
"Mr. and Mrs. DUDLEY CATES have bought No. 10,928 A pair of side chairs [[checkmark]]  No. 10929 - A pair of armchairs [[checkmark]]  No. 1o827 - A Gothic Chest

"Mr. CATES is Vice President of March & McLennan  164 West Jackson Blvd.

"This gentleman lives near Chicago - at 627 Ash Street, Winnetka, Ill,
"and it is to this latter address that the items are to be shipped 
"when they will get to New York, According to the herewith enclosed
"invoices you will see that the packing of these different items
"is up to us but that the insurance and freight expenses have to 
"be paid 'C.O.D."

"On the other hand we are bringing over for him a French Bible by
"Gustave Doré of a value of 650. Frs. which he has bought I don't
"know where and which we are xxxxxxxxxx forwarding to you for
"him.

"According to the invoices you will see that he has paid on account
"of the side chairs and arm chairs $485. - and on account of the 
"chest $250.   He will pay the balance upon receipt of the items.

"We have no particular information as regards these people and you
"might inquire as regards their credit. [[handwritten note at bottom of page]] Is in Social Register [?] Chicago Member of Several Clubs[[/note]] They went to the Guaranty
"Trust Company of Paris with a letter of introduction from the
"Guaranty Trust of [[crossed out]] New York. [[/crossed out]] [[handwritten]] Chicago - [[/handwritten]]

Note: Mr Jucker, you will notice that one of the bills is in Pounds Sterling and the other in Dollars. G.S.
