London, W.C., England.

Dear Sir:

We have received your advice of certain expenses in reference to our recent shipment of a large canvas accompanied by one mezzotint, which you have delivered to Messrs. Clark & Son. ^[[We]] note that you will send us a final bill in due time.

If and when you return said canvas and mezzotint to us, we would ask you to please note that on the consular invoice which you will make out, you will have to state theron the cost of the restoration as a separate item. This cost is 20 Guineas.

Very truly yours,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & COMPANY, Inc.
