Gentlemen,

In reply to yours of the 8th inst., regarding the picture by Lawrence "Lady Lovat", the restoration is only just completed and I am collecting the picture to-day.

I propose to ship same by the S.S. "American Banker" sailing from London Saturday next 25th inst., Owing to the high value
^[[X bracket]] I take it you would not wish me to ship by the mid-week boat the S.S. "Berengaria" as the freight charges alone by this boat would cost about £36.

Awaiting your further esteemed wishes, I beg to remain,
Gentlemen,
Yours faithfully,
^[[J Chenue
P.S. The picture has just been brought in [[and?]] is still very sticky. It will therefore not be hardened [[and?]] dry enough for packing for a few days, but it will be shipped as above.]]
