Dear Mr. Chenue:

Mr. Georges E. Seligmann turned over to us your invoice of March 4th, 1941, addressed to Jacques Seligmann & Fils, Paris.

For obvious reasons our Paris house being incapable of making remittance today, our Mr. Germain Seligmann has instructed us to make payment to you with the enclosed check No. F. 9562, dated May 12th, issued by the Fifth Avenue Bank of New York and drawn against their U. S. Registered Account No. 358 with the Westminster Bank, Limited, London, in the sum of:

£4.10.0 (four Pounds Sterling, ten Shillings).

Will you be good enough to forward to us a receipted duplicate bill.

Yours very truly,
