Dear Miss Adlow:

How very kind and thoughtful of you! I was ever so pleased to receive a copy of your issue reproducing the Gothic Head for which you gave us a courtesy line, and found the reproduction surprisingly good, as so often newspapers lose the "spirit" of a work of art.

I hope you will find it possible to come to New York during our great exhibition of Illuminated Manuscripts from the Bibliotheque of the Dukes d'Arenberg, opening on the 17th., as they are of extraordinary quality.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
