Irving M. Levey, Librarian  Hebrew Union College Library | Excellent paintings by Pascin Young girl in blue with curious high boots. Has more color than the usual Pascin. ^[[I estimated it]] $500. ^[[He]] told ^[[me]] that ^[[he would]] not sell for less than $^[[2,000 and would]] put the painting back in the Museum. They really wanted to sell the painting only because the artist has a reputation ^[[to have]] chosen his models amongst the women of lower class. In conclusion told him that if I ever had a chance of getting near to his price I would be asking him to send the painting over to New York.
