February 7th 1924

Chas. W. Clark, Esq.,
Clarkdale, Arizona

Dear Mr. Clark,-

You have probably heard of the great loss I sustained in the passing of my dear father, Mr. Jacques Seligmann.

The aim of this letter is to ask you whether, due to the new conditions that arise and to the necessity I am in to reimburse some of the heirs in order to be able to continue my business, you could settle your account with us. This account amounts with accrued interests, to the global sum of Frs. 167.850,--. to February 1st.

I would deeply appreciate it since, as I told you before, I am really in need of this money now.

Hoping to receive a favorable answer from you, and looking forward to having the privilege of seeing you either in New York or in Paris, I remain,

Sincerely yours,
